Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Partnership NHS Trust has been shortlisted in the Clinical Research Impact category at the 2016 Health Service Journal (HSJ) Awards for the second year running.

This year’s shortlisting is in recognition of the work undertaken by the Trust’s Research Delivery Unit in creating a research programme designed to raise the profile of research across the organisation and improve quality of care.

Burton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is working with The Royal College of Midwives (RCM) to improve the support available for midwives and maternity colleagues. 

The Burton Hospitals’ Maternity Unit has signed the Royal College of Midwives’ (RCM) Caring for You Charter, which aims to improve the health, safety and wellbeing of midwives so they are able to continue providing the highest levels of maternity care for women and their families.
